This replacement restores the door assembly’s role. It does not change the vehicle’s charging connector, charging speed or CCS capability.

01 / BEFORE FITTING
Compare the assemblies.
Match the connector, mounting points and full label number before the replacement is installed. Have the technician follow the correct vehicle power-isolation and access procedure.
02 / DURING FITTING
Set the alignment.
Route the harness correctly, secure the assembly and adjust the door to the surrounding tail-light. Check clearance through its opening and closing travel.

Complete the checks.
Perform the charge-port door calibration and any additional routines required for the car’s configuration. Confirm normal opening, closing and charging operation.

Is this a genuine Tesla part?
This is a new aftermarket replacement sold by TESERY for the compatible Model S applications listed above.
Does the motor come with it?
Yes. The assembly includes the red reflector door, mounting body, powered hinge/actuator mechanism and attached harness. You are ordering one complete door assembly, not just the outer red panel.
How do I choose US or EU for an imported car?
Start with the car’s original market and its current charging configuration. A US-spec vehicle imported into Europe generally still needs the US-spec door if the original assembly remains fitted. For converted cars, match the existing part label, connector and mounting layout with TESERY before ordering.
Will it fix every charge-port warning?
Order this assembly when the fault or damage is in the charge-port door or its mechanism. The charging inlet, cable latch, ECU and vehicle wiring have separate functions; a charging warning should be diagnosed to identify the component that needs repair.
Does installation require calibration?
Yes—plan for the charge-port door calibration in the applicable Tesla service procedure. Some configurations also require further service routines. Your installer should complete those routines and check door movement, panel alignment and charging operation before handover.
Is this for the left or right side?
Both market options are for the left-rear charge-port location on Model S. “Left” means the left side of the vehicle when facing forward from the cabin, regardless of where the steering wheel is located.
